In the town renowned as the capital of the almonds and the red
wine "Nero D'Avola", only two steps away from Siracusa and Noto,
you will find "the Villa Of thePapyrus"; it is a white-washed
house newly built, in typical italian style, approximately 100
metres far from the sea, surrounded by a 2000 mq
garden. We offer apartments in villa, totally furnished, with every
comfort possible, with independent access, pathway and garden. All
apartements sleep 4-6 (or 5-7). There are two or three bedrooms,
usually one with two single beds, and the other with a double bed .
The kitchen is the larger room, equipped with gas stove, oven,
fridge, tv set and air conditioning. All the kitchenware, pots,
pans, dishes and glasses, are rigorously disinfected. There is a
bathroom fully equipped, but there is also an external shower, very
useful when you come back from the beach, and you want to wash
yourself or your diving equipment. The house is surrounded by a
beutiful large garden with olive trees, lemon trees and palms and
prickly pears, a lawn well kept, frequently mown, where the
children can play safely. All apartements have an outside area for
the barbecue, and you may pick mint, parsley, sage, rosemary,
basel, and other spices from the master vegetable garden. There
is a driveway, where you can park your car, but there is an outer
area too where you can park in total safety. The bedrooms are wide
enough, There is an external terrace with a gazebo so you can dine outside,
enjoying the garden. There is a laundry common to the apartements, equipped with a washing-machine. The road that leads to the sea is reserved to
the residents of the few villas: at its end you´ll find a
beautiful, little, calm rocky beach, with a transparent water,
warm, full of plants and fish. At 300 metres you will find the
sandy beaches of Avola, and also some reef, and limpid and
crystalline waters. Avola is, moreover, a good starting point to
the astonishing beautiful towns of South-east Sicily(Palazzolo
Acreide, Noto, Scicli), whereas the sandy long beaches, (Porto
Palo, Isola delle Correnti, Eloro, Vendicari) are almost empty
except than in August. From the villa, the historical center of Avola is at 2,000 metres, the first cafè is at 100 metres, the supermarket SMA (open every
day 8,30 - 20,30, Sundays 8,30 -13,00) is at 800 metres, the beach
equipped at 300 metres, pub and restaurants at 500 metres. Rest
assured that you will be given an excellent reception and a caring
consideration for all your needs.At your arrival we will give you
the city map of Avola and Noto, Beyond to the piantina of the city
with the indications of all the necessary services for
a pleasant stay. You will have all the comfort, you will feel like
at home with us, you will be near all that you dreamed,
